NORGE DEFIANCE

In the near future, Middle East turmoil and the US withdrawal from NATO triggers an energy crisis. A catastrophic hurricane devastates Norway, killing 800 people and causing untold physical and economic damage. In response, the Norwegian government aimed to develop new nuclear power as a viable alternative to oil. To this end, Norway cuts off all fossil fuel production, intensifying the energy crisis in the continent. The European Union, in desperation, acquiesces to a Russian-led invasion of Norway.
In response, small pockets of former Norwegian special forces soldiers, known as Free Norway, have started the struggle against occupation.

RENTAL EQUIPMENT

We have replica and eye protection (paintball style mask) rentals available for players who need it. We ask that players keep in mind that our rental equipment is limited in quantity and a reservation is recommended to ensure your needs are met.

RULES

We expect all players to read our field and safety rules before they attend any event at our field. While these rules are covered during the safety brief it is important that players check the rules from time to time to ensure they do not miss updated information. We require that all players complete the current season (2021) waiver before they play in any event at our field. The waiver covers the entire season and only needs to be completed once per year.

RULES (EVENT SPECIFIC)

Magazines:
- The use of mid-capacity magazines is recommend but not required. Players may have two (2) high-capacity magazines or unlimited mid-capacity magazines. The high-capacity magazine number restriction does not apply to qualified LMGs.

Medics:
- The medic system will use a masking tape system for healing. A certain number of medics will be assigned for each team. Wounded players can be healed a maximum of two times (one strip of masking tape per arm) at which point they must return to their main fob to respawn. Upon arriving back at the fob any strips of tape currently on either arm can be removed. Wounded players can be dragged (two hand touch) to medics but cannot walk on their own. Once they have bled out (after two minutes) and started walking back to their main fob they may not be healed.

Side Points:
- Side points are points gained through the completion of objectives and capture of points which the commanders of each team can use for actions such as “mortar strikes” and “air insertions”. These actions are designed to keep the flow of gameplay moving and to avoid stalemates.

Snipers:
- The use of snipers will be restricted and limited for this event. Sniper spots, of which there are four per faction, must be reserved beforehand by contacting the center.
